First of all, this is what a flower of the Gloxinia plant would look like. Of course, there're many variations to their colour; mine is a deep violet instead of the deep red as seen above.
I first got my Gloxinia on the 15th Mar 08: this was about 4 days after I got it. None of the 20 over buds have flowered yet.
The largest bud in my plant (4-5 days after I bought it).
